This post is overdue since we’ve been running around hunting houses and actually buying one! Anyway, more about that tomorrow.
I was very humbled, teary and so, so grateful for the lovely gesture and thoughts from a number of bloggers who shall have to be known as the blogging ninjas.
Since our fire, I’ve been adamant that I wouldn’t accept any monetary donations or such from the internet, and have been quite stubborn about it. Kind words and thoughts have always been what I sought.
I did accept a lovely offer for some second hand items I’d not gotten around to replacing just yet. I accepted, and gave my address. Little did I know that a thoughtful bunch of bloggers were hatching up a generous plan to donate some money towards a gift card at Myer/Coles!
Here’s the beautiful card it came in, with some thoughtful words inside, and the names of the bloggers who made a donation. So far, I’ve thanked two of the bloggers, letting them know of my intention to write a thank you post with a a link to everyone’s blog who did this wonderful thing. They were firmly against having their names mentioned, insisting on only being known as the ‘ninjas’! I will be emailling everyone personally. I’ve been so very busy, and have just contracted a nasty vomitting flu, so please don’t think I’m not grateful, I just like to do my thankyou’s justice.
I just want to give those of you who contributed, a very heartfelt and emphatic THANK YOU. My partner and I were overwhelmed and humbled by this act.

Fabulous! Blogging creates such an amazing community, and yet some people still look at you strangely if you talk about friends you’ve made on the internet …. lol
Yep, been there Kelli!

How beautiful Sharon. I love this story! There is so much love out there in our communities both close by and afar. This is what life is all about. Supporting, loving and helping where you can. You have your own blogging Angels. So sweeet! <3
I think angels is much more apt than ninjas!
