So pleased it’s school holidays at the moment; it lets us take care of the rigmarole of meeting with solicitors, signing paperwork for our soon-to-be new home. We had a little spare time after taking care of business, that we decided to explore our new town a bit. We braved the narrow, hilly roads leading to Lake Blowering (pronounced to rhyme with ‘flowering’, not ‘blow ‘er ring’). It was terrifying! Look at the pictures below and decide for yourself if it was worth the scary drive. Also watch out for a little kangaroo action (you will need to squint!)….
What an amazing, majestic part of the world. I cannot wait to get better acquainted.

Looks amazing! Hope you really love it there….

So much nicer than the dusty, boring town we’re currently in, Dorothy:) Best thing is, I get scenic walks again, yay!

You’ll get used to the narrow windy roads. I hope the kangaroos dont try to race you down the road, though. That can be a bit hairy. Congratulations on the new place, hope you settle in well.

The good thing is that the part of town we’ll be living in has really good roads, this was kind of a touristy bit that comes off the town, if that makes sense? Thank goodness, though! Thanks Carmel, we’re pretty excited! Just have to wait a few weeks, then we can make the move!

Those views are stunning! How exciting that you’ll get to go on gorgeous scenic walks in your new home. (PS I love your son’s dinosaur t-shirt – I think my kids – yes both of them – would love it!).

Yes, and apparently if we go the safer way next time the views will be even better, more close up, so can’t wait for that. LOL at dino shirts, yep, all three of ours are obsessed with dinos too
